Leadership
Investing in our Community’s future
“The single biggest way to impact an organization is to focus on leadership development. There is almost no limit to the potential of an organization that recruits good people, raises them up as leaders and continually develops them.” – John Maxwell
The Montgomery County Community Foundation team consists of our highly experienced professionals and a board that consists of knowledgeable and experienced philanthropists. Together we work to provide superior service to our donors to expand their philanthropic impact.
Success at the Montgomery County Community Foundation includes bringing people together to collectively tap their insights, knowledge and wisdom to help others fulfill their philanthropic and charitable giving goals and legacies. One of the benefits of a community foundation is that the job of the board is to steward the funds entrusted to it on behalf of the donors and the community. The board’s loyalty is to MCCF and the donors who have established their funds. This means funds will honor the intent of the donor, even when specific, designated recipient organizations fade from view.
Board of Directors
Montgomery County Community Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of well-known community leaders from across Montgomery County. Directors are selected for having demonstrated personal involvement in civic affairs and a high level of commitment and philanthropic leadership in our community.
