As your partner in philanthropic giving, the Montgomery County Community Foundation can help you achieve a success for you, your clients, and the community.
Ways to give to Montgomery County Community Foundation include: cash gifts, pledges, gifts of securities or real estate, your annual Required Minimum Distributions, assignment of life insurance, charitable trusts, bequests and memorials. With this flexibility, the foundation provides maximum tax advantage for private philanthropy. The foundation will also accept assets transferred from private foundations and public agency endowments, which may serve to reduce administrative burden and expense while continuing the purpose for which these funds were intended.
We stand ready to partner with you in communicating the benefits of a particular charitable giving strategy. Our staff is available by phone, email, or in person.
We understand that your clients might prefer to remain anonymous, and we are happy to work directly with you on their behalf. We want to help your clients make well-informed decisions they feel good about. Our staff and board are able to provide support to your clients with complex giving options, including charitable remainder trusts, gift annuities, estate plans, and gifts of real estate. Contact us for assistance in establishing a fund, selecting an investment strategy, or setting up an effective grant-making program.
Our strong record of financial stewardship assures your clients that their charitable agenda will be met now and for generations to come.
We have a self-perpetuating Governing Board comprised of philanthropists and business leaders who have a heart for our community and are invested – financially and otherwise – in the long-term success of MCCF. Our Board of Directors represents a cross-section of our community and works hard to maintain high donor confidence about proper management of charitable gifts.
Managing funds collectively and sharing services allows MCCF to not charge a fee to our funds which creates greater benefits for Montgomery County.
Administrative costs are underwritten by two fundraisers each year with the objective of helping your client’s fund grow while it is improving the quality of life in Montgomery County with annual grants. Click here to see the differences between MCCF and other funds and legacy options.
