Donors may specify gifts to:
Ways of giving to the Community Foundation include:
- Cash gifts
- Pledges
- Gifts of securities or real property
- Assignment of life insurance policies
- Charitable remainder trusts
- Bequests
- Memorials
With this flexibility, the Montgomery County Community Foundation provides maximum tax advantages for private philanthropy. The Foundation will also accept assets transferred from private foundations and public agency endowments which may serve to reduce administrative burden and expense while continuing the purpose for which these funds were intended.
