Current Funds
I. Donor Advised Funds
A donor advised fund gives donors the opportunity to actively participate in the philanthropic process by reviewing grant requests and recommending charitable organizations/programs to receive grants. Donors enjoy the benefits of recommending grants that fulfill their charitable wishes, without the expense and obligation of administration. The Foundation’s Board of Directors is legally responsible for approving all grants.
George and Emily Fath Fund for Human Needs
The George and Emily Fath Fund For Human Needs provides financial assistance for the neediest families in Montgomery County with special consideration given to people who have sudden unexpected needs due to sickness, injury, disability death in the family or natural disasters. The spirit of Matthew 25:31-46 will serve as a guide.
Margaret and Foster Madeley Family Fund
The Margaret and Foster Madeley Family Fund was set up to help create and foster secure environments and programs in which people are able to experience their potential to thrive.
Dan H. & Martha Foster Madeley Heritage Fund
The Dan H. & Martha Foster Madeley Heritage Fund was set up to provide grants to Montgomery County non-profit agencies for researching, collecting, preserving and sharing the histories of the people of Montgomery County, Texas.
Mary Ann Madeley Metcalf Endowment Fund
The Mary Ann Madeley Metcalf Endowment Fund provides grants to benefit the people of Montgomery County.

II. Field of Interest Funds
Through field of interest funds, donors support a particular interest area such as the arts, children and youth, health and wellness, neediest families, and/or senior citizens. Use of the fund is restricted to the donor’s designated causes but flexibility remains to meet changing community needs.
The Woodlands Medical Center Foundation Fund
The Woodlands Medical Center Foundation Fund was established for the purpose of providing health care and wellness assistance and education, including shelter and medical or psychological screening, treatment, or counseling in the South Montgomery County/The Woodlands area, through funding of capital improvements for buildings, improvements, furnishings or equipment and/or related program expenses, but exclusive of administrative, staffing or overhead expenses.
Susie and Jack Brouse Family Fund
The Susie and Jack Brouse Family Fund was established to provide financial assistance to the neediest families in Montgomery County, Texas, in the spirit of Matthew 25:31-46.
Elise Mae & Edward Everett Taylor Fund
The Elise Mae & Edward Everett Taylor Fund was created to provide financial assistance to the neediest individuals in Montgomery County, with a special interest in agendas that provide services to meet the needs of elderly citizens residing in Montgomery County, Texas.

III. Designated Agency Funds
Individuals and organizations wishing to create a fund for the benefit of a specific nonprofit organization or program can create a designated agency fund. At the time the initial gift is made, the donor designates the charity or charities that will receive the fund’s distributions. Distributions are paid to the designated organization or program as long as it is in existence. In the event the designated organization ceases to exist, becomes obsolete, or is unable to perform its charitable purposes, monies from the fund can be redirected to an organization which, in the opinion of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, best perpetuates the donor’s original intent.
Don and Barbara Gebert Interfaith Endowment Fund
The Don and Barbara Gebert Interfaith Endowment Fund was established to honor the Geberts, the founders of Interfaith of The Woodlands, and the proceeds are used to fund causes related to the Interfaith organization and its outreach.
Crighton Theatre Fund
The Crighton Theatre Fund was endowed by the board of The Montgomery County Foundation for the Performing Arts, also known as the Crighton Theatre Board, for the purpose of preservation, maintenance, upkeep and expansion of the real property and improvements known as the Crighton Theatre in downtown Conroe.
Montgomery County Performing Arts Society Performance Fund
The Montgomery County Performing Arts Society Performance Fund is an endowment created for the purpose of paying the costs, fees, and expenses to bring performing artists who are part of the Society's scheduled season to Montgomery County.
Montgomery ISD Foundation for the Arts Endowment Fund
The Montgomery ISD Foundation for the Arts Endowment Fund provides funding for fine arts programming in MISD schools.
Memory Park Maintenance Fund
The Memory Park Maintenance Fund was established to provide for the perpetual care, maintenance, and improvement of the Memory Park located north of, and adjacent to, the Charles B. Stewart West Branch Library in Montgomery, Texas.
Henry & Billie Brooks Endowment - Food Bank
The Henry & Billie Brooks Endowment - Food Bank was established to provide funding for food distribution to non-profit agencies in Montgomery County through the Montgomery County Food Bank.
Tommy Metcalf Endowment--FBC
The Tommy Metcalf Endowment--FBC benefits the First Baptist Church of Conroe's benevolent fund which is used to meet the needs of individuals in Conroe.
Tommy Metcalf Endowment--Assistance League of Montgomery County
The Tommy Metcalf Endowment--Assistance League is an Agency Fund benefiting the Assistance League of Montgomery County for the sole purpose of identifying and responding to the needs of Montgomery County’s citizens in an effort to improve their quality of life.
Tommy Metcalf Endowment--Conroe Live
The Tommy Metcalf Endowment--Conroe Live is an Agency Fund benefiting Conroe Live, an organization established to attract the arts, entertainment, and education in efforts to revitalize downtown Conroe.
Tommy Metcalf Endowment--Oscar Johnson Jr. Community Center Board of Volunteers, Inc.
The Tommy Metcalf Endowment--Oscar Johnson Jr. Community Center Board of Volunteers, Inc. was created to provide funding to the Oscar Johnson Jr. Community Center Board of Volunteers, Inc. for use in programs and initiatives supported by the community center.
Morris Bateman Conroe Noon Lions Club Fund
The Morris Bateman Conroe Noon Lions Club Fund provides financial assistance to the Conroe Noon Lions Club Charities Fund.
MCCF Administrative Endowment Fund
The MCCF Administrative Endowment Fund has been established to help provide a permanent source of funding for Foundation expenses so grant distributions from the annual income of our other endowed funds can be maximized.

IV. Unrestricted Funds
Donors establishing or adding to unrestricted funds recognize that our community’s needs and opportunities change over time. These funds provide flexible resources needed to support innovative responses to address the community’s most pressing needs. The Foundation’s Distribution Committee and Board of Directors oversee the use of these funds, directing them to projects that most significantly contribute to the welfare of residents of Montgomery County.
Frankie Alexander Benevolent Fund
The Frankie Alexander Benevolent Fund was established by the Montgomery County Community Foundation Board of Directors as a general Unrestricted Fund to accept contributions in memory or honor of individuals.

V. Scholarship Funds
Scholarship funds are set up to assist young adults from Montgomery County in reaching their personal goals and dreams through higher education or technical training.
Cort Martin Memorial Scholarship at Lone Star College--Montgomery
The Cort Martin Memorial Scholarship at Lone Star College--Montgomery was established by Tim and Deanna Martin to honor the memory of their son, Cort Martin, a Woodlands High School student who tragically died in an auto/train accident in Montgomery County. College/Career scholarships will be given each spring to graduates of high schools in the Conroe Independent School District.
Shane Dickerson Carter Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Shane Dickerson Carter Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to benefit Montgomery County high school seniors who have demonstrated the Rotary International mission of "Service Above Self". This endowed scholarship fund was created by Rotarian Don Carter, in memory of his beloved wife Shane Dickerson Carter, who passed away in 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Henry & Billie Brooks Scholarship Fund
The Henry & Billie Brooks Scholarship Fund provides need-based scholarships to students attending Lone Star College--Montgomery. Applicants must be a resident of Montgomery County and a United States citizen. This scholarship potentially awards $600 for 4 consecutive semesters, provided the students maintains hour and grade point requirements.
Mary Jane Hamilton Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Mary Jane Hamilton Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to benefit need-based students from Montgomery County planning to attend Lone Star College-Montgomery. This endowed scholarship fund was created in memory of Mary Jane Harrison Hamilton who passed away on April 2, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer. This scholarship fund was created to honor her life by her loving stepmother Patti Harrison, President of the PSH Foundation. It is Ms. Harrison's desire to memorialize Mary by assisting other students wishing to secure a college education in Montgomery County.
Buddy Moorhead Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Buddy Moorhead Memorial Scholarship was started in 1984 to honor the memory of Conroe High School Football Coach Buddy Moorhead. It has gone through many years of transition and now has a permanent home with MCCF. Senior students selected for this award must have participated in football at Conroe High School, have a reasonable chance of success in college, be of good character, and must exemplify the 'spirit' of the Conroe Tigers.
